Pristine Hughes & Kettner 5-watt Tubemeister 1X8 Tube Combo Amp. Wow.
There is something about German engineering. Here we have a pristine and amazing-sounding Hughes & Kettner TubeMeister 5-watt tube combo amp with an eight-inch Celestion speaker. These are no longer made and not that easy to find. I have had a ton of fun playing around with this little thing. With my Les Paul, I was able to get some nice overdrive on the clean channel and some nice Marshall-like Zeppelin tones on the gain channel. I just love low-watt tube amps and this is a cool small amp for a great value. Oh, and the patented, Hughes & Kettner Blue "glow lighting" is pretty groovy. I realize it was manufactured in China but it was designed and engineered in Germany.
